Hello! I'm Mitchelle.

I draw constant inspiration from my diverse life experiences, infusing my work with real-world understanding. My background in Sociology, gave me a solid understanding of human behavior and social systems. I then transitioned into the world of user experiences by working as a Community Builder in B2C health techs. This gave me direct access to users and their motivations on a daily bases. Here, I learned to spot patterns, predict needs, and understand feedback. This hands-on experience, coupled with my desire to have a more direct impact on products and solve user problems, naturally led me to pivot towards UX Research, where I can apply my insights to shape better user experiences from the ground up. Currently, I'm enhancing my skills by pursuing a Master's in Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington.

Oh, and did I mention I'm a full-time cat mom? That's taught me a thing or two about interpreting needs without words, a skill that surprisingly translates well to understanding user behavior! When I am not working I am usually on a long walk to my favourite coffee shop, at a bachata social or hosting a board games night!
